About this session
Haemophilia care is evolving rapidly, with the focus extending beyond simply preventing and treating bleeding episodes to improving long-term outcomes and quality of life. This masterclass will take clinicians through the complete care pathway from recognising clinical clues and identifying patients who may have haemophilia to diagnosis, referral, treatment, monitoring and long-term management. It will explore the evolving treatment landscape, including the role and challenges of factor replacement therapy and the emergence of non-factor therapies. The session will also take a deeper look at non-factor prophylaxis in Haemophilia A and B without inhibitors, bringing together clinical evidence and real-world experience on bleed control and quality-of-life outcomes.
