Half of Elderly Diabetics Face Dysmobility Syndrome Risk
13 Aug 2025 • In seniors with type 2 diabetes, 50.4% meet criteria for dysmobility syndrome (DMS) and 25.2% report at least one fall in the past year.

Advancing age, vitamin D deficiency, and prior falls were key risk factors, underscoring the need for early screening and targeted musculoskeletal health strategies to prevent disability and improve quality of life in elderly diabetics.
