7 Aug 2025 • AI-assisted endoscopy shows high accuracy in detecting early gastric cancer (EGC) and assessing tumor invasion depth.

For EGC detection, AI achieved an area under the sROC curve of 0.95, with 84% sensitivity and 92% specificity. It also accurately evaluated invasion depth (sROC 0.89; sensitivity 84%, specificity 89%).

These findings highlight AI’s strong potential to improve early diagnosis, precision, and treatment planning in gastric cancer care.
